Data protection

Declaration on the obligation to provide information

The protection of your personal data is particularly important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this data protection information we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the framework of our website.

Contact with us

If you contact us using the form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored with us for six months for the purpose of processing the request and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

Data storage

We would like to point out that the IP data of the connection owner, as well as the name, address and payment data of the buyer are stored in the context of cookies for the purpose of simplifying the purchasing process and for subsequent contract processing. The data you provide is required to fulfill the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. Without this data we cannot conclude the contract with you. There is no data transfer to third parties, with the exception of the transfer of payment data to the processing bank/payment service provider for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport company/shipping company commissioned by us to deliver the goods and to our tax consultant to fulfill our tax obligations.

After aborting the shopping process, the data stored by us will be deleted. If a contract is concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the end of the tax retention period (7 years).

The data name, address, purchased goods and date of purchase are also stored until the product liability expires (10 years). Data processing takes place on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 Paragraph 3 TKG and Art 6 Paragraph 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for the fulfillment of the contract) of the DSGVO.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies. We use them to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

If you do not want this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in individual cases.

If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of our website may be restricted.

Web Analysis

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. Cookies are used for this purpose, which enable an analysis of the use of the website by your users. The information generated in this way is transferred to the provider's server and stored there.

You can prevent this by setting up your browser so that no cookies are saved.

Your IP address is recorded but immediately pseudonymised. As a result, only a rough localization is possible.

Data processing takes place on the basis of the legal provisions of Section 96 Paragraph 3 TKG and Art 6 Paragraph 1 lit a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.

Our concern within the meaning of the GDPR is to improve our offer and our website. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, user data is pseudonymised.

The user data is kept for a period of 12 months.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this website may contain embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if the visitor had visited the other website.

These websites may collect data, use cookies, embed additional third party tracking services, and record interactions with that embedded content.

Your rights

In principle, you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.

Leadfeeder

Leadfeeder, which is operated by Liidio Oy / Leadfeeder, Mikonkatu 17 C, 00100 Helsinki, Finland. Leadfeeder accesses the list of IP addresses of website visitors provided by Google Analytics in the analysis and links the list of IP addresses with information about the companies that can be found on the Internet under these IP addresses. Because the IP addresses of website visitors are already truncated when Google Analytics is used, no direct personal reference is established. A personal reference may presumably arise when reviewing the linked company information. For more information about Leadfeeder and the data collected, please see: www.leadfeeder.com/privacy/, information about Leadfeeder and compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation: help.leadfeeder.com/faqs-and-troubleshooting/is-leadfeeder-ready-for-gdpr.

Use of cookies and other technologies for web analysis and advertising purposes

Insofar as you have given your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR, we use the following cookies and other third-party technologies on our website. After the end of the purpose and the end of the use of the respective technology by us, the data collected in this context will be deleted. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. You can find further information on your revocation options in the section "Cookies and other technologies". Further information, including the basis of our cooperation with the individual providers, can be found under the individual technologies. If you have any questions about the providers and the basis of our cooperation with them, please use the contact option described in this privacy policy.

7.1 Use of Google services

We use the following technologies of Google Ireland Ltd, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). The information automatically collected by Google technologies about your use of our website is usually transmitted to a server of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA and stored there. There is no adequacy decision by the European Commission for the USA. Our cooperation is based on standard data protection clauses of the European Commission. If your IP address is collected via Google technologies, it will be shortened by activating IP anonymization before it is stored on Google's servers. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server and shortened there. Unless otherwise specified for the individual technologies, data processing is carried out on the basis of an agreement concluded for the respective technology between jointly responsible parties in accordance with Art. 26 GDPR. Further information about data processing by Google can be found in the Data protection information from Google.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS
For the purpose of website analysis, Google Analytics automatically collects and stores data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information as well as information on your use of our website), from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. Cookies can be used for this purpose. Your IP address will not be merged with other Google data. Data processing is carried out on the basis of an agreement on order processing by Google.

For the purpose of optimized marketing of our website, we have activated the data sharing settings for "Google products and services". This allows Google to access the data collected and processed by Google Analytics and subsequently use it to improve Google services. The release of data to Google within the scope of these data release settings is based on an additional agreement between data controllers. We have no influence on the subsequent data processing by Google.

Further enrichment
At the same time as using Google Analytics, Software ReUse GmbH uses the Leadfeeder service, which is operated by Liidio Oy / Leadfeeder, Mikonkatu 17 C, 00100 Helsinki, Finland.

Any further data processing will only take place if you have activated the "personalized advertising" setting in your Google account. In this case, if you are logged in to Google while visiting our website, Google will use your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for cross-device remarketing.

GOOGLE RECAPTCHA
For the purpose of protection against misuse of our web forms and against spam by automated software (so-called bots), Google reCAPTCHA collects data (IP address, time of visit, browser information and information about your use of our website) and analyzes your use of our website by means of a so-called JavaScript and cookies. In addition, other cookies stored in your browser by Google services are evaluated. Personal data is not read or saved from the input fields of the respective form.

Use of Microsoft services for web analysis and advertising purposes

We use the technologies described below from Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, D18 P521, Ireland ("Microsoft"). For website analysis and event tracking, we use Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking (UET) to measure your subsequent usage behavior if you have reached our website via a Microsoft Advertising advertisement. For this purpose, cookies may be used and data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information as well as information on your use of our website based on events specified by us, such as visiting a website or subscribing to a newsletter) may be collected, from which user profiles are created using pseudonyms. If your Internet-enabled devices are linked to your Microsoft account and you have not deactivated the "Interest-based advertising" setting in your Microsoft account, Microsoft can create reports on usage behavior (in particular the cross-device user numbers), even if you change your end device, so-called "cross-device tracking". We do not process personal data in this respect; we only receive statistics compiled on the basis of Microsoft UET.

USE OF FACEBOOK PIXEL
We use the Facebook Pixel as part of the technologies of Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook") described below. The Facebook Pixel automatically collects and stores data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information as well as information about your use of our website based on events specified by us, such as visiting a website or subscribing to a newsletter), from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. For this purpose, when you visit our website, the Facebook pixel automatically sets a cookie that enables your browser to be recognized automatically by means of a pseudonymous cookie ID when you visit other websites. Facebook will merge this information with other data from your Facebook account and use it to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity, in particular personalized and group-based advertising.

Data processing is carried out on the basis of an agreement on order processing by Facebook. Their analysis serves to optimize the presentation and marketing of our website.

We use Facebook Ads to advertise this website on Facebook and other platforms. We determine the parameters of the respective advertising campaign. Facebook is responsible for the exact implementation, in particular the decision on the placement of the ads with individual users. Unless otherwise specified for the individual technologies, data processing is carried out on the basis of an agreement between jointly responsible parties in accordance with Art. 26 GDPR. The joint responsibility is limited to the collection of the data and its transmission to Facebook Ireland. The subsequent data processing by Facebook Ireland is not covered by this.

Based on the pseudonymous cookie ID set by Facebook Pixel and the data collected about your usage behavior on our website, we operate personalized advertising via Facebook Pixel Remarketing.

When the Trustbadge is called up, the web server automatically saves a so-called server log file, which also contains your IP address, the date and time of the call, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the call. Individual access data is stored in a security database for the analysis of security anomalies. The log files are automatically deleted no later than 90 days after creation.

Further personal data will be transferred to Trusted Shops GmbH if you decide to use Trusted Shops products after completing an order or if you have already registered to use them. The contractual agreement concluded between you and Trusted Shops applies. For this purpose, personal data is automatically collected from the order data. Whether you as a buyer are already registered for product use is automatically checked using a neutral parameter, the e-mail address hashed using a cryptological one-way function. The e-mail address is converted into this hash value, which cannot be decrypted by Trusted Shops, before transmission. After checking for a match, the parameter is automatically deleted.
